TENUIS PRE-CLAD SYSTEM - This system was created in 2000 by Merrimack Stone Industries and further evolved in 2004, and has been used on numerous of our complex stone installations around the world.  Aluminum panels (2 mm or 3mm thick) are reinforced with aluminum angles and are clad with any specified thin granite/limestone/marble material, caulked, and sealed right here at our assembling facility in Ratchaburi.  The panels are numbered and are assigned to a general area of the building they are to be used on.  At the job site they are welded on to aluminum skeleton receiving structures fastened to the building and secured as per our structural engineer’s specification.  Our revolutionary system allows us to interchange many of the panels or to make necessary last minute adjustments in the field.

This system dramatically reduces costs and total installation time, and more importantly, allows the flexibility necessary to compensate for varying as built conditions.  
 
As of 2006, the Tenuis System also includes the Tenuis Curved System, where lightweight curved stone is pre-clad and installed as arches. columns, and other curved stone structures that can be used on weight sensitive projects, or on projects where concrete slab or structural steel interfere with the installation of solid stone products.

• TRADITIONAL STONE CLADDING – This is the traditional cladding system with mechanically fastened stone pieces onto a CMU or concrete backup wall.  Our installers have worked on traditional stone cladding projects all over the world with enormous success.
  
  
• STAINLESS STEEL/ALUMINUM STRUCTURES – We assemble and install exterior building components such as stainless or aluminum balconies (including tempered glass components), sunshades, penthouse balconies, canopies, roof top structures, and any ornamental item made of stainless steel or aluminum.  The products arrive on the job site ready to for installation, requiring only minimal final preparation, and are installed concurrently with our exterior veneer installation if necessary.
  
  
• PRE-ASSEMBLY OF INTERIOR ITEMS – We are able to pre-assemble fully tiled walls and floors on standard sized room components, such as shower enclosure sets or bathroom veneer sets, so as to cut down costs and on site installation time.  The panels are attached to a substructure with welds or mechanical fasteners right at the site.
  
  
• DESIGN AND CALCULATIONS – Merrimack Thai offers design and drafting assistance right from the start.  We work with the project Architectural team to help come up with the most efficient and cost-effective design to keep costs low, while never compromising on the quality of our final product.  We provide detailed shop drawings for any item we install, and our structural engineers provide the necessary structural drawings and calculations for any project in the United States.
